What ‘s dictating to President Benigno Aquino III to extend his term? He really interested in this plan; he is only using us when he said that he will follow the will of his boss. Hey, Mr. Is there a strong clamor from the majority of the Filipino people to continue your governance? It seems that this is a will of some of his allies. Because not all the members of the Liberal Party which is the political party of the president are not favored to the idea of P-Noy for a second term. They believed also that the 2016 Presidential Election will be pushed. There’s a rumor that Liberal Party was divided because of this issue.

It is mandatory for P-Noy to step down from the position after he complete his six year term; he like it or not. There are many reasons why P-Noy should not extend his power in Malacanang. Let us say that the majority of the Filipino people believes that the government should not amend the Philippine Constitution. They don’t believe that they just want an economic provision. Of course, they will also make a politics provision. There is a possibility that they will change the term of the president, from six years they extend it to 10-12 years. Wow, that’s too long! It seems that the Philippines have no hope if P-Noy will be not our president anymore in 2016. So, it is only right that if we stand for ‘No Cha-Cha or Charter Change.

Of course, there are some aspiring presidents who are better than P-Noy. So, to his allies, don’t think that the his is the only one who could lead our country. If they are still pushing with their plans; the public may doubt them. They are doing that for their personal interest and not for the sake of the Filipino people. Even his uncles Butch Aquino and Peping Cojuangco doesn’t like him to be our president again. If P-Noy don’t want to lose the Aquino magic, he should push Kris Aquino to run as president in 2016!

Some of the allies of P-Noy are worrying because they assumed that the next president may not continue his good governance. They firmly believe that P-Noy made a true reform to the government, particularly in his anti-corruption campaign under his Matuwid na Daan program. But his anti-corruption has detiriorated in an insrand because of the Disbursement Accelaration Program or DAP. It was declared by the high court as illegal because it was not against to our constitution. If they will amend the constitution, maybe they would also declare DAP as legal. If P-Noy is sincere in his anti-corruption campaign, he should abolish PDAF and don’t defend theDAP. Why, he does ask for a second term if he received a lot of complaints because of DAP? There are many problems that the Aquino administration didn’t solve, then he wants to lead us again. He doesn’t even alleviate the extreme poverty in our country. It seems that this administration is much favored to the rich people. They doesn’t feel the economic growth that they are talking about. They can’t afford to buy even the daily basic needs because of its high prices. We are living on agricultural land, but the price of rice is really high. But they are not increasing the wages of the people.

We should recommend to P-Noy that use his remaining time in Malacanang to act as a father of this country. There are many things that he should do rather than planning for his next term.
